The Out of School Club
A safe, fun and nurturing out of school environment
It is our aim to make sure all of the children coming here feel safe and happy in the Long Itchington Out of School Club. To do this we employ kind, caring and approachable staff who work together to put on enjoyable activities, help nurture friendships and respect and treat every child as an individual.
To keep the children occupied we will put on various activities, both indoor and out, so that they have the opportunity to relax and socialise, play games or run off energy in the vast school grounds.
We know it’s important to know how your child is getting on so welcome an open and honest dialogue with parents and carers as to how your child is getting on in the Out of School setting. Whenever issues do arise we aim to deal with them in an appropriate manner ensuring the child’s best interests are at heart.
One of utmost priorities is to keep children safe from harm and therefore have designated safeguarding leads and keep up to date with the guidelines and training provided by local safeguarding teams.
The Out of School setting
The Out of School Club is run from a setting shared with the Pre School and within the same building as Long Itchington Primary School. This allows us to take advantage of the school’s wonderful outdoor space as well as use of the community centre that is also located on-site.
This variety of spaces allows for:
KS1 and KS2 children to be looked after in separate areas, allowing us to put on age appropriate activities
A welcome change of scene for children when they transition from one key stage group to the next
Children to run off energy, get fresh air and exercise in the school’s vast outdoor space
Safe drop off and collection access at the start and end of the day
Term time sessions
Out of School Club is open during term time i.e. 38 weeks a year
Morning Sessions
7.45am until 8.45am - £4.00 (£4.50)
Afternoon sessions
3.15pm to 4.30pm - £6.00 (£6.50 ad hoc)
3.15pm to 5.00pm - £7.00 (£7.50 ad hoc)
3.15pm to 5.30pm - £8.30 (£8.80 ad hoc)
3.15pm to 6.00pm - £9.00 (£9.50 ad hoc)
Holiday clubs
